THEATRE QUEST
Theatre Quest is an opportunity for small groups of primary school students to explore backstage at Cork Opera House. Each adventurer will journey through the corridors, dressing rooms and backstage areas where they will uncover clues, solve riddles, draw and paint, and turn the lights out on the opera ghost all while learning more about what goes on behind the scenes in a theatre.

*School groups will be selected randomly from local schools via a google form.
SEE MEMORIES ATTACHED
See Memories Attached is a series of six multi-sensory immersive exhibitions aimed towards opening doors to the inter-generational lives of six different people living in Cork. This event is free, but registration is required.

THE MAKERS DEN
The Maker's Den is a crafting zone based on a two-hour presentation of lino printing and collaging taking place on the mainstage of Cork Opera House. Through the guidance of John Bastow (lino) and Aleesha Wiegandt (collage), audiences will have the opportunity to carve and print their own lino print on postcards, ending with a chance to contribute to a large canvas creating a vision of Cork using recycled newspapers and Cork Opera House programmes.

Tickets for this event are limited and priced at €10 per person.
CORK'S CORNER
Cork's Corner at the Opera House is a lively event taking place both outside on Emmet Place and in the foyer of the Cork Opera House. Outside the building, Emmet's Garden will showcase the work of local artists in visual arts and provide a green area to connect. In the foyer of the venue, guests will be able to access information and insights on the day's artistic programme and contribute to live music and open mic sessions.
Creative dialogues between artists will be encouraged and supported through the inclusion of an Artists’ Corner; the idea is to create a space for the exploration of ongoing and future projects. This overall aim is to foster connections in a communal atmosphere and to celebrate community and creativity.
